Solace is a planning tool, not a lawyer or doctor. You own your content. Pro subscriptions can be cancelled anytime. iOS purchases follow Apple's rules. We're not liable for data loss — export regular backups.
Solace is a personal organisation tool. Nothing in Solace constitutes legal, medical, financial, or professional advice of any kind. We strongly recommend consulting a licensed attorney for your will, estate plan, power of attorney, advance directive, and any legally binding documents.
By downloading, installing, or using Solace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Solace. These Terms apply to all users, including users of the free plan and Solace Pro subscribers.
Solace is a personal final affairs planning application that helps individuals and their representatives organise documents, contacts, wishes, and instructions. Solace includes an AI assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude API.
Solace is not a legal service, law firm, medical service, financial advisory service, or professional service of any kind. Use of Solace does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, or any other professional relationship.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Solace. By using Solace, you represent that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use Solace.
Account creation is optional — Solace works without an account with data stored locally on your device. If you create an account (required for cloud sync), you are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We use magic link email authentication. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure, as it serves as your primary authentication method.
You retain full ownership of all content you create in Solace — your wishes, contacts, documents, obituary text, crisis notes, letters, and all other information you enter. By using Solace, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.
By using the AI assistant, you grant Anthropic, PBC a limited licence to process your messages to generate AI responses, consistent with Anthropic's Consumer Terms of Service.
